Sweet Summer

Venho através deste comunicade avisar que "talvez" este seja meu último post até janeiro/fevereiro, infelizmente.

Poisé, como todo final de ano, junto vem o verão e as férias da faculdade (mas não do trabalho). Então, o que me resta e ir morar na praia todo verão, e não vai ser diferente nesse. Na praia eu não tenho acesso a internet, portanto de agora até janeiro ou fevereiro o blog não será mais atualizado com links (músicas e filmes), infelizmente. Também vou dar um tempo pra cabeça.

Um feliz e próspero 2010 para todos!! Muitas ondas, trips, roubadas... e muito surf!

I've been through this Comunicad warn that this may be my last post until January / February, unfortunately.

Yep, like all season, along comes the summer and college vacation. So I have left and go live on the beach all summer, and will not be that different this year. On the beach I don't have Internet access, so from now until January or February the blog will no longer be updated with links (music and movies), unfortunately. I will also give time for my head.

A happy and prosperous 2010 to all! Many waves, trips, "roubadas"... and a lot of surfing!

VA - The Pier Exposed Sampler 2010

Firstly, thanks to everyone that entered. The Pier and the judges were overwhelmed with the strong interest from all the bands that entered from all over the world - over 130 entries.
It was a tough job, but The Pier and the guest judges (Thanks - The Expendables, Dirty Heads, Passafire, John Brown's Body, Ballyhoo! and The B Foundation) came up with this digestible list of 30 bands.
For those that missed out this time round, take comfort this will become an annual event and we will be posting an Exposed news feature every Thursday on The Pier. Starting with your bands!
Lastly, support your local Reggae Rock band as there is a s@#tload of awesome groups out there in every region. You may just have to look a little harder for them and The Pier will continue to try and Expose as many of these bands as we have done since day one.
